The annual report of the Secretariat of the Energy Community on the progress of our country in the implementation of reforms in the energy sector, was presented for the first time in a wide meeting with the participation of the deputies of the Green Group of the Parliament of Albania.

The chairman of the Green Group, Mr. Arben Pellumbi evaluated this commitment as a further strengthening of the role of parliamentarians for the promotion of the objectives of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, closely related to the focus of the activity of the Energy Community based in Vienna.

In his presentation, Mr. Artur Lorkowski, Director of the Secretariat, evaluated the moderate growth of our country in the approximation of European legislation, as well as emphasized the belief that the expected reforms will be carried forward during the year 2023, with Albania taking over the presidency of the Community.
 
The Academy of Political Studies is assisting the Green Parliamentary Group within the framework of GIZ Regional Open Funds for South-East Europe - Energy, Transport and Climate Protection in South-East Europe. This program is funded by the German Federal Government and the European Union and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Gesellschaft GmbH (GIZ).
