A representation of the Green Parlamentary Group held a meeting today with the chairman of the German parliamentary committee for European affairs, Mr. Anton Hofreiter. The discussion focused on establishment of contacts with the Green Group in the German parliament as well as exchange experience in increasing the role of parliamentarians for the implementation of the European Green Agenda.

The Academy of Political Studies joined forces with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Tirana foundation to facilitate this parliamentary cooperation. The Green Group is being assisted by ASP in the framework of GIZ Regional Open Funds for South-Eastern Europe - Energy, Transport and Climate Protection. This program is funded by the German Federal Government and the European Union and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Gesellschaft GmbH (GIZ).
