On 5-6 December 2022, APS coordinated the participation of the representatives of the Green Group of the Parliament of Albania at the workshop of the Parliamentary Plenum of the Energy Community in Vienna. The delegation was composed by MPs Arben Pellumbi (Chair), Helidon Bushati (Deputy Chair), Eduard Shalsi (Deputy Chair) and Lefter Geshtenja (member of GPG), Ms. Xhilda Pinci, adviser of the Parliamentary Committee and the director of the APS, Erjon Tase.
The MPs joined the legislators from the contracting countries of the Community to discuss the issues of energy security, decarbonization and green transition, with a special importance in the situation created after the Russian aggression in Ukraine. This commitment of the Albanian delegation is even more important at the moment that Albania is expected to take the presidency of the Parliamentary Plenum in 2023.
